I'm trying to remove the passenger side axle off a 2001 Chevrolet Impala LS 3.8L. I basically got every part of the axle off but the spindle boot that connect to the transmission. Thats the only piece I can't get off IT WON'T BUDGE!!! I've tried pulling on it, tried hitting it with a flat head and hammer. Nothing! Any tips or suggestions please?

It is a spline shaft going into the trans. If it is that stuck in trans use a big pry bar and pry it out of trans housing.
