Default question, popping

ok i got my 05 impala just a few days ago, idk, when i turn and accel, ill feel like a slight pop in my steering wheel, is this something major? or normal lol, it has 49k on it.....CV axles weak? does it have CV axles? or is this something not to really bother, at high speed theres no vibration, just at a low speed and turning....

There's a knuckle in the steering shaft down by your feet. It gets dry and makes the popping noise. Do a search
on impala intermediate steering shaft. You spray the heck out of it with spray lithium grease and it will go away.
Also, when you spray the knuckle, have someone turn the wheel from all teh way from one side to the other.
This will really allow the grease to penetrate. I had the same problem.

Or take it to a dealer they can install a grease cert and lube it correctly for about $50-$75
