I own a 2012 Impala LT and have had issues with the traction control, stabilitrack & throttle shutdown problem, including temporary loss of brakes for a few years now. I have taken it to Christenson Chevy in Highland, IN. on a few occasions (last time was late 2015) and they always say they cannot duplicate the problem which is a noise when turning the wheel and also a hesitation in the movement of the vehicle. The traction icon in the instrument panel always turns on when this happens. Problem is getting worse.

I see that a recall has been issued. Do I need to have a letter to take my vehicle back to Christenson Chevy? I am sure that they have probably been made aware of the problem by now.
