Default Seat Heater Switch?

Hey guys, I'm just wondering if someone can tell me if the seat heater switch on a 2004 Impala would be the same as the switch on a 2001 Monte Carlo? The dealer said that they have a different part number, but they look exactly the same.

Thanks

The wiring might be different on the plug, or the other has options for other accessories.

If you have a couple switches that you want to swap out, I say go for it. I looked at a couple schematics, and it looks like the seat heater control portion of the switch is the same. The only difference I see is that the monte has built in LED's where the impala has none. But that may very well be in another schematic.
