Default Speakers

How do i go about removing my 6x9s in my 2003 Chevy Impala.......i broke one speaker grill and dont want to do that again lol...but now i can get the speaker out...HELP

take the entire back seat out and remove the entire rear panel that has the speaker grills on it i took mine apart to clean the glass out of them from having a rear window broken. it took me about 20 mins to get them out.

push down and back on the seat cushion on the front rightthen left side you should feel it pop out sometimes it takes a few triesdo both sides lift it out and up. once you have it out you will see a metal strap attached to the seat back on the bottom on both sides take those 2 bolts out disconnect the center shoulder belt on the bottom then lift the seat back straight up comes right out.....

you don't need to take the back seat out!! Fold the seats down and unscrew the big silver screws, then you can slide the whole back panel out to expose the speakers.

there are alot of impalas that didn't have the rear folding seat option mine was one of them..... it would have been nice to have a rear folding seat!
