Default Temp gauge not working

2001 imapala,I have replace thermostat, replaced coolant temp. sensor. Gauge still is not working, also my blower motor stays on after the car is shut off,for approx. five minutes. This blower motor will stay on even if I just start the car and then turn it off. I kinda think problems are related. Any advice?

I have the same problem, it also causes the A/C to not work properly. They told me I would have to replace instrument cluster to fix gauge or the electronic module. Expensive either way. I've seen other posts related to this as well, seems to be a flaw.
