Default Ticking noise in 2007 impala

I have a ticking or clicking noise coming from what it seems like the engine and and I’m not sure what it could be. It happens when I accelerate and decelerate. However, It won’t happen all the time, only every few times I drive it. I’m not sure what it could be. I’ve checked my oil and I have a small leak but I don’t lose over a quart every oil change. Please if you have any ideas I’m open to any. Thank you!
