I am trying to see if there is anyone out there that can help. I have a 2011 Chevy Impala. I was doing my regular 50 mile commute, when I currently heard a hard knocking sound. I had it towed, only to get the worse news ever - $2,600. Now I'm completely loss. My only car, and expecting a newborn. Are there any rebuilt transmissions out there? With all the postings I saw, are there any recalls on the 2011 Chevy Impala?

How many miles on it? Couldn't there be some sort of powertrain warranty on your Impala?

 

I thought Chevy had a 5 year 100K mile drive train warrenty?
