Default Turn Signals work intermitantly

04 Impala SS-the turn signals sometimes don't turn on. Anyone else have this problem? I don't want to take it in to the dealer because it doesn't always happen. Multifunction switch? Flasher switch? What are your thoughts?

THis is a long shot, but the next time it happens put your hazards on, then turn them off. THen see if your turn signals work again.

THis used to happen on my old camry, and turning the hazards on would always get them to work again.

I am inclined to think its a fuse or flasher issue.

Been doing the flasher thing for a while now. It works, but do you think replacing the flasher will do the trick?

definitley worth a try... I dont believe they are overly expensive (although the last one I changed was on an 80 firebird).

it is your hazards switch. my 01 does the same thing, i just give it a good slap on the dash above the switch and they start working again
