GOT LOTS OF QUESTIONS!!! HELP???
ok im getting a 84' k5 blazer, that from what i can see is almost stock< but when i get im gonna be able to put a lift on it, wheels, and tires!! Im going to forsure get a Skyjacker 6" suspension lift kit w/ 4 shocks ans 4 add-a-leafs, but idk what todo about the wheels/tires:
option 1: stick with the stock 15x8 rims and get 35x12.5x15 BFG Mud Terrain tires
option 2: get 15", 16", or 17" rims with the same tires, but olny to fit the rim sizes of bigger rims if i get them!
MY QUESTION: is there any difference in height (on the lift)with 15, 16, or 17 inch rims? and should i get cast or steel?
and does the width matter? if i get 8 inch wide rims can i put 12.5" wide tires on em'?
thanks for the help guys, any info you have is helpful plese fine tune my setup if you want!!

Answers:
6" lift
1.Stock 15 x 8's will accomdate 12.50's widths and 35" height.
2.There will be a 1" height difference in your overall height based on your selectoin of rim diameters.
Warning
4" lift w/ 33's are safe for offroading w/ your stock 10-bolt axle (no engine mods).Anything above 4" & 33" and increased Horsepower you'll need to upgrade your 10 bolt axles to 12 or 14 bolt (1/2 9" Ring Gear- 3/4 ton 9.5" Ring Gear). Otherwise, your bebetting on time while in the middle of nowhere for the 10 bolts to go bye-bye.
