Some questions on a GMT400 blazer...
I happened to see a full size 90s blazer in my area(northern IL) for sale that has 243,000 miles on the odometer. I've always heard high mile vehicles are bad to buy because of warn out parts, transmission problems, engine problems, etc.
My question is, are high mile blazers bad?
I checked frame and its got about as much rust on it as my dads 2000 GMC Jimmy. So either the owner babied it, stored it in the winter, or it was a southern truck. The passenger door has a little bit of cancer on the bottom edge, nothing too bad considering the area it's possibly lived in.
The yob wants $3500 which seriously does not seem worth it imo.

Check to see if it has a trailer hitch and a 700r4, if it does walk away. Sure a lot of people love this trans but towing will kill this thing if it was left in overdrive, plus its just a weak trans and shouldn't have been used in full size trucks. Other than that your prob looking at suspension parts like tie rods, ball joints, ect...I'm guessing it has a 350 in it, those last forever. Personally I would never buy any daily driver with more than 100,000 miles on it unless I was getting it for dirt cheap and $3500 is way over priced.
