Default Transmission Fluid

I recently purchased a SS Turbo 350 Transmission. The company that I bought it from is suggesting I purchase their synthetic fluid (Synthetic Transmission Fluid, Schaeffer's Supreme.) What im asking is; does anyone else have recommendations possibly for a cheaper(theirs is $164 for a case of 12) fluid that is just as good? Thanks.

if tranny is gonna be subjected to "abuse", i.e. racing, hard shifts, towing, i'd go Royal Purple and a GOOD trans cooler. otherwise, a good name brand fluid is good. if you go synthetic you must stay synthetic. with proper maintenance tho, regular fluid will be just as good.
