A\C off due to high engine Temp
My 2013 Malibu (2.5L 2LT) has been showing the message “A/C off due to high engine temperature” on and off for a while now. I am not overly concerned because the car runs and drive normally ( with the exception of the fan), and I know my car is not overheating. It will display the message in the middle of the winter, after being off for days sometimes.
All fluids are normal. It happens most often when the weather gets warmer and I turn off the heat.
I know it is most likely a sensor or other electrical issue, but I don’t have the time or money to take it to a shop, (or replace parts all “***** nilly”)
Has anyone had the same issue and have a fix?
Ive had an Ton of other issues with this car as well, but I will save those for a different post....
