I have an 04 Malibu LS 3.5 that needs a clock spring. Twice I have purchased clock springs from dorman 525-005 to have installed. Both times I was told by two different mechanics that I had the wrong spring. Every site I have visited has listed the 525-005 as the correct spring for my car. Can someone help me so I can put this long awaited issue to rest.
