04' Malibu check gas cap

seems something wrong with fuel system, check gas cap error message, sometimes does not get enough fuel to start. Car has only 28,000 miles on it.

My wife has an 04 malibu maxx and it does the same thing. I replaced the gas cap and it still does this sometimes. I don't know what the deal is, but if anyone knows I would like some suggestions too.

most times your turning it on to far, click 2 times and 2 times only......you get vapor lock, the gas cap will also thro a check engine light sometimes.
