I'm trying to remove the passenger side door panel on my 2005 Malibu Maxx. I've pulled all the clips and found the two bolts under the door handle but the panel seems to be held in place by the hard plastic trim around the chrome door opener/release lever. Anyone have any ideas?[:-]

 

Use a small screwdriver or a pick to release the tabs around the inner part of the bezel

Release the tabs and push the door handle bezel from the door trim panel.



Using a non-marring tool, remove the door trim fastener cover.
Remove the door trim fasteners.



Remove the fasteners at the rear of the door trim by first pushing in the center of the fastener.
Using a non-marring tool to release the fasteners, remove the door trim.



If you are installing a new door trim, remove the luggage compartment release switch from the door trim. [/ol]
