I just talked 2 my buddy that works for chevy ans he said thier releasing the new 09 malibu maxx later this year

sorry to say but it is a BIG myth...

i too have many friends that work in various facets of GM, from lineworkers to sales people, and there is definitely no MAXX coming back!

besides, with something that big, Car and Driver, Motor Trend and every other car magazine would have a huge headline on the cover reading... NEW 2009 MALIBU MAXX!

until that day, i wouldn't hold my breath. besides, the MAXX didn't sell well enough for them to continue it, that's why it's not around now!
