Default 1981 Malibu Classic Transmission
Hi, I'm new here and i have a question about a 1981 Malibu Classic that I have. What transmission does it have in it? It has a 4.4L 267 in it. It is a 3 speed automatic. I believe it is either a turbo 250 or 350. Im thinking 250, but am not sure.

Most likely a 250 metric.

i have a 1981 malibu with 229 cubic inch 3.8 litre v6 ( iraqy taxi ) what rear end would it have ??
