2004 Malibu classic problem
I currently own a 2004 Chevrolet Malibu Classic. I have had the car for almost two years now and have had no problems with it thus far. I recently just drove it from Dallas, Tx to Gainesville, Fl.
I am now though experiencing a few things. Recently the car has a semi rough idle. I have a nice vibration when I put the car in Drive. The vibration gets even more pronounced when I turn the air conditioner on. Any ideas on what might cause this behavior?
Also recently I have heard a kind of sqeaking noise when I am driving down the road. I hear the noise on my right side. When ever I apply the brakes though the noise goes away. Any idea on this one also?
Again thank you for allowing me to join this forum.
Any replies or suggestions are greatly appreciated.

I got the squeaking noise taken car of. Turned out I needed new brakes. Oops.
To expand on the idle. After I drive the car for awhile and then come to a stop the idle ceases to exist. That is until I turn on the a/c system or the heater.
Other than that the car is great. I have had it for over two years now and have had absolutely no real issues with it. 47,000 miles and counting.

I would bring the car into the dealerhavethem run a computer check it, if there is nothing wrong they could at least adjust the idle speed. Its worth the money to go to the dealer.
