2004 Malibu - hard shifting in all gears - only happened once

2004 Malibu - hard shifting in all gears - only happened once
Hello all!
Interesting problem I had the other day:
--> 2004 Chevy Malibu 2.2L 4cyl Echotech
--> I was driving to work in the morning (wet road conditions - it just rained), and EVERY time my car shifted gears, it was a hard shift. 1st to 2nd gear was hardest, but all gears shifted hard. This is the first time that the car ever gave me problems shifting in every gear.
--> At lunch time (approx. 4 hours later), I drove my car again - the shifting magically fixed itself - no problems at all. I have not been able to reproduce the problem since.
The transmission did have its fluid changed about 3 months ago.
Ideas/thoughts? Thanks for your opinions!
