is it a manual or an automatic?
1. replace any mechanical fan for an electric one. this makes a HUGE difference.
2. handling is just as important, make sure you have a decent set of wheels and tires.
3. your car is fwd, so too much power makes it unstable, so focus on minor upgrades (no v8 swap or anything crazy)
4. upgrade your induction.
5. upgrade exhaust.
6. upgrade for an electric fuel pump if yours is mechanical
7. turbo it.
8. get a performance chip
9. get it tuned up
