Smile 2010 Malibu Factory Remote install help please!!

Hey, I have searched and I know this question has been answered one million times, but my gf has a 2010 Malibu with keyless entry and I want to get the factory remote start for her car. I know that it can be done but i am unsure if her vehicle can be equipped with the factory remote start. Can anyone please help me or point me in the right direction? Thankyou for all advice in advance!!!

You need to find out what the RPO code is for remote start prep package then look on the sticker in the trunk to see if you have it. Call the dealer they should be able to tell you. Either way you must take it to the dealer to have it turned on (programmed)
