Our Malibu recently blew a valve spring. I decided to replace all the springs. I'm in the process of putting everything back together but had a question about a term used in a manual when putting the valve lash adjusters back in. The pre installation procedure states that's its imperative to pre-fill the "low pressure chamber" with motor oil prior to installing. what part of the cylinder head is considered the Low Pressure Chamber ?

I'm not an engine re-builder expert, however ...
Are you sure they're talking about the head? The inlet side of the oil pump is low pressure. It makes sense to make sure the oil pump is primed.
are they referring to soaking the hydraulic lifters in engine oil before installation. you can't install they dry. I would put them in a jar filled with oil overnight.
thanks fro the feed back. The reason I had thought it was the cylinder head was because it was in reference to installing the lash adjusters. I'll attach the original statement to see if it makes more sense
Thanks for the feed back. I was planning on lubricating the adjusters before installation, which was also stated separately. I'll attach the note exactly how it's stated, maybe it will make more sense.
