I think in trade in my 2006 Equinox for a 2.5L 2013 Malibu. I tested the car and runs fines but I have heard concerns about the MPG.

 

MPG is pretty solid on this car. a full tank will net you a range of around 450-500 miles depending on driving style. I get about 30-33 consistently on the highway and have averaged about 25 in the city. between the two my average readout between combined city and highway driving has been 29.5. I have gotten as much as 38 mpg with cruise control set at 68 on Ohio turnpike.
