I have power going to A/C clutch coil but the compressor will not kick in. Were there any problems with the compressor coils on this model going bad? The compressor turns freely and is not locked up. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

 

Welcome from Florida. From what you say, the clutch is probably bad.

 

I kinda thought that would be the problem.

 

Did you measure any continuity through the compressor clutch?
If it's "open" (no continuity) that would be a sign it's definitely bad.
From what you say, it sounds like it is or the connector could be a problem - power not actually getting to the clutch. Make sure that's not your problem.
