My AC started running warm a few days ago. I bougjt refrigerant to recharge it and had a friend put it in (since I literally know nothing about cars). The AC is running slightly cooler but no where near ehat it used to be. The car isn't running funny, there are no indicator lights, and my OnStar diagnostics doesn't note anything significant. I am out of warranty and we already spent a grand on my husband's AC for his car so I am pretty tapped out, money wise. Any ideas?

 

I'd say add another can, but you really should have gauges put on it

 

The person who recharged it said the gauge attached to the can showed I was full. I don't know what you mean by other gauges.

My extent of car knowledge is something along the lines of "they have 4 wheels and go vroom."
