'68 Chevelle down shift linkage problem
I have a 1968 Chevelle with the 250 inline 6, 1 bbl, Powerglide.
The kick down rod / linkage is broken and I need to replace it. I have been searching for over 6 months and have yet to find one like mine. Any ideas as to where I can find one would be greatly appreciated. Mine is just a single rod, over 2 feet long, with a slight bend and a fixed nipple on one end and an adjustable nipple on the other end. The rod goes from the carb linkage straight down to the trany. Simple as heck, but nobody seems to have this particular rod...Help please....
