98 Malibu ball joint problem!!!! PLEASE HELP
I know this is a wierd FIRST post, bu I REALLY need yalls help.
I have a 98 Malibu and I needed to replace the lower ball joints. I did so, and AFTER the install the PASSENGER side hits the rotor during a turn and when I hit a bump. I have already thrown away my old ones, so I can't compare the SIZE diffrence if there are any. I DID NOT have the rubbing issue before I replaced the lower ball joints, So I am leaning towards it being the BALL JOINT itself. Now please remember that this DID NOT happen before the ball joints were replaced. ONLY afterwards. Also keep in mind that I put the EXACT same kind of ball joint on the driver side, and it DOESN'T rub on that side.
Can you guys help me with what this might be? Any help or advise would be greatly appreciated.

double check the installation.....ball joints shouldn't come near the rotor at all.
pay close attention to the 3 bolts that were used to bolt in the ball joint...make sure the bolts aren't rubbing on the cv shaft.
