Aftermarket Stereo - 2002 Malibu LS
I am installing an aftermarket stereo in an '02 Malibu LS. The head unit has a wire that must be connected to the 12 volt side of the parking brake switch. I attempted to access the switch from under the dash, but it is virtually impossible due to the congestion in the area. I need to find some other more accessible point to which I can connect the wire, perhaps at one of the connectors on the main wiring harness. Unfortunately, I do not have access to the wiring diagram/connector layout for the car. Can anyone offer any suggestions as to an alternative to the parking brake switch itself?
