i have a 2016 chevy malibu as the weather got warmer i noticed when releasing the brake or putting car into park from the auto stop condition the starter would kick in to start car,does this most of the time but not always.was told by the dealer this is normal? something tells me otherwise

 

most autostop car will start when the brake is released in preparation of driving off. What does your owners manual say for operation of the system.
