Clabibrate temp Gauge.
My temp gauge on my 97 Malibu climbs to just under the halfway mark then stays there no matter if the motor is cold or even if running a little hot. How can I test the gauge or calibrate?

Is the car a v6 or 4 cylinder? I am not sure, but I would assume they have different operating tempratures. There is no calibrating. It is what it is. If its off, you ECT might be bad or your thermostat might be stuck.
