hi everybody i have a 2006 chevy malibu maxx ss 3.9 L the dome light stopped working after i accidentally hit it one day, ive changed the bulb, checked all the fuses, moved the switch to the left middle and right and nothing seems to work. Can anybody give me some insight on what i can do ? I dont want to take it to somebody and they charge me a crazy amount and its a simple fix.

 

Using Occam's Razor, I'd figure the switch was damaged when you hit it. Lots of parts, no matter the make or brand are not very well made these days, IMO
