The driver seat air bag module (item 3 below) is in a pocket of the seat cover on the left side:

Post a picture of the "plastic part" if you'd like more specific help.

its the back of the seat that has the net on it

The seat back panel comes off:

Gently pull on upper left corner and upper right corner to disengage the retainers (number 1 and 2 in circles) and then pull the panel up and out. Then, see what you can mend/repair.
