driver's seat craziness....
New '07 Tahoe LTZ owner. I find that no matter if I activate the "easy exit" feature or not, whenever I get in the driver's seat, it's about 6 inches closer to the steering wheel than when I last exited. It doesn't slide back (which is what I thought it was supposed to do with "easy exit). It slides way forward (making it a squeeze to get into the seat). I'm not a big guy.....5'10"....180 lbs. Is this right.
It doesn't seem to matter whether the "easy exit" feature is activated or not.
Any suggestions/solutions/advice?

If someone accidentally set the seat memory to the "closer" postion then whenever you use the remote to unlock the door it sets it to the that postion.
Get in and set the seat position. Then hit and hold the memory button on the door until it beeps. It should remember that position. It sounds like you already do, but check to see if you have the memory seat recall "on" in the DIC. If so it will recall the saved setting.

Also be aware that each key fob is assigned a number 1 or 2 (used to be on the back). So when you set Memory 1, you'll have to determine which fob controls that setting.
Yeah, matching the number on the fob with the memory position is key (pun intended). Initially, I set my memory positions on #1 and my wife set hers to #2, but our fobs actually reversed. I should have set mine to #2 and hers to #1.

I miss the numbers onthe back. Guess they are ore simple to produce and supply without the numbers to worry about.
My wife's 2004 Tahoe still has the numbers and my ex-2002 TrailBlazer both still had the numbers and were still very readable.
