Electrical Problem, Help Request...
Hello Everyone,
Thanks for taking the time to read this.
Info...
2009 Chevy Malibu LT
I've been having a problem for some time where if you rolled up or down the front driver's side window (while in park), the trunk would open. I ignored it for sometime because it was easy enough to just close the trunk.
Well now I'm having problem where I'm blowing the 30A fuse to the automatic windows instantly. As soon as I replace the fuse and turn the car back on, the fuse blows.
I was wondering if anyone knew how to fix this and could possibly help me out. I'm not much of a car guy myself, more of a computer guy.
Thanks in advance for any help.

Welcome to the forum. You probably have a short in the wiring inside the driver's door. I think you'll want to get it serviced (if still under the bumper-to-bumper warranty, even better). Or, you can try taking the trim panel off the door and look. I have to warn you, the plastic trim panels can end up looking pretty bad if you don't know what you're doing.
