I have a 2010 Chevy Malibu LTZ and the drivers low beam light burned out. To change, does the bumper have to be taken off to get to the light?

If it is anything like my '14 Equinox, access is via the fender well. There should be a removal panel in the fender well. From there a cover over the rear of the headlight assembly is removed allowing access to the headlight bulb assembly. It's a bit of tight fit for your hands if they are big like mine. End up working mostly by feel. Not much slack in the wiring once the socket holding the bulb is removed.
