heater blower motor noise?

It is likely the blower motor. My '07 Malibu did the same thing, especially on speeds 1 and 2 until the blower motor was replaced under the GM Extended Warranty that I bought when I got the car. The noise drove me crazy for about a month until I went to the dealer. They knew what it was right away so it must be a common problem.

ticking sound kinda?
at any rate if your still under warranty take advantage of it. Get it fixed. If they replace it with another factory fan it will more than likely happen again, but let them do what they do with your warranty. But in the future you can check 1aauto.com, i got my blower motor for my 07 Malibu from them good price and not to hard to install. Go on autozone.com and they have diagrams you can look at and print out.
