Help, my horn won't shut off
Help.. 2005 Chevy Classic (the old style Malibu.) I used my horn yesterday and it stuck in the on position. I couldn't find the horn to unplug the wires to it. I finally hit the horn button hoping to release it. It shut off and I went to grab lunch. When I came out it was running full blast in the parking lot. I repeated banging on the horn button till it shut off. Then a couple hours later my neighbor came to my door and told my my car horn was going again. I repeated what i did earlier and I know its going to do it again. Help. I don't know where the fuse is for the horn? Is it inside or outside under the hood? This thing is driving me crazy.

Sounds like your horn button is sticking. You can also remove the horn relay to stop it. It is in the under hood fuse box. If you remove the fuse or the relay then you will not have a horn at all.

Thanks oldchevy. I found the horn relay using a 2003 Malibu diagram, I think it was relay # 21. I pulled it and tested the horn and its definitely off now. That's way better than the alternative of having it stay on at random. I think you were right, the horn switch was just stuck in the on position. Probably from not being used in in a few years.
