installing fuel pump on a 2001 malibu 3.1L
hello,
does anyone know what is involved with changing the fuel pump on a 2001 malibu with the 3.1L engine???

do these go out that ofter...this car only has 12k on it. This is what i tried first was the module for the engine.

should be inside the gas tank...if you keep a couple of gallons of gas in there at all times it will last longer but when you drive it on empty all the time the pump heats up and eventualy fails
