Unhappy instrument cluster in 2006 malibu

about 14 months ago I noticed that a low tire pressure warning light was illuminated on my instrument cluster (bottom left of odometer circle) while driving at night. Called the dealership in the morning and made an appointment for two reasons: 1/ vehicle model I have does not monitor this feature so couldn't figure why it would indicate and the light, although very easy to see at night, was not visible during the day. Was treated very poorly by dealership - basically told I was out of my mind, that the light wsn't there and that the car did not even monitor this feature. Took photos in of the light illuminated at night with little success - eventually after several weeks, decided to leave the vehicle with service manager over night who then witnessed the light "illuminated at about 60% intensity". Instrument cluster was replaced - allegedly. First night I drove it - light was there again. After much debate a second instrument cluster was order and then the issue of possible light cast off was explored. Ultimately, they took the instrument panel apart and used paint to cover the bottom of the area where the light was illuminated to essentailly hide it as they could not explain why it continued to be visible but only at night. That then resulted in a new light being illuminated ( visible at night only) and this light is a warning indicator my vehicle does monitor ( it's related to traction control). It's about a quarter inch from where the other one was. Called the dealership and we started the whole process of accusing me of being crazy, and then finally they simply said that it was not an issue they could resolve, they knew my vehicle was operating correctly and I should just ignore it. So truthfully - I have, well did until recently when I've had steering problems and was forced to go back to the dealership. Apparently this is also in my mind. I believed them just a bit until I received a bulletin in the mail from GM HQ in Oshawa about a electric steering malfunction in my vehicle that is covered until 160,000 km. Regretably my vehicle has now passed that at 170,000, although I will fight with them tomorrow to repair at their cost as it was documented as a problem 2 months ago and not resolved. Looking for some input into why this instrument cluster issue continues to plague me and where I should pursue.
