I was just given a pet project and am having a very difficult time locating some performance parts. The most basic things I'm looking for are lowering springs and a cat-back exhaust for a 2005 Malibu V6 sedan. Does anybody sell them?

You're right it is really difficult finding aftermarket parts for 97-05 Malibus, but there are some out there. For lowering springs, go with Eibach. I have Eibach lowering springs on my 02 Malibu. For a cat-back exhaust, I'm not sure about the 05 Malibu but I know Pacesetter and Borla make them for the 97-03 Malibus so you can look into those.

 

Thanks for the reply. I should've been more clear since GM in it's infinite wisdom overlapped the Malibu for two years. This is the 04-07 generation Malibu.
