Default Loss of Coolant

My 2006 Malibu LS has been losing coolant for the last 6 months. There is nothing on the ground and no visible leaks from anywhere. and no sludge it the radiator. My Local dealer looked at it and had to call Chevy and they said that this is probably one of the few 2.2 engines with a small defect in the metal where the head meets the block. Has anybody seen or heard of this before? Thanks.

Is it having white smoke out of the tailpipe? Is the oil dipstick "normal"?

My old Chevy pickup started slowly using coolant. Oil was fine and no leaks or white smoke. I put a can of Aluma-seal in the radiator, ran it hot with the heater on full. Hasn't used any coolant since then and that was three years ago. Probably was blowing it out the exhaust from the head gasket is my guess.
