Me and my wife own a 2007 chevy malibu maxx and its had problems since we got it. This time my sister was driving the car and when she went to turn the seat warmer on the car died and lost all electricity. Nothing works except for the check engine light which is dim until you put the key to on in which it brightens. If anyone can help i would really appreciate it.

 

Sounds like a short in the seat warmer. Guess I should add remove the fuse for the seat warmer.
