Hello All,

My 02 Malibu will not switch from Fresh to Recirculation mode for the AC. The recirc light will come on, but that's it. No extra air, click ect... I can't find anything in the manual (Chilton) that pertains to recirc. I need some system theory and componant locations if anyone knows. Thanks.

 

ok found the problem. the recirc valve fitting broke off from the actuating link. anyone know how to remove the valve (i.e. blower housing).

 

You have to remove the entire dash to access the heater box, PM me with your email and i'll send you some instructions on how to do it
