Default Power Loss
2020 Malibu. I accelerated from a stop sign and loss power. The console message read: "Put vehicle in neutral, press brake pedal and push to start". I did this it started up and nothing else happened for the rest of the trip but what could have caused that?

At a guess the start/stop system.
