would it be stupid to put flowmaster or any exhaust on a 2008/2009 malibu?

What size engine? I do not think you will get the sound your looking for with a smaller engine!

2.4L. there is also a v6 3.5L

depends on what kind of sound are you going for? I think if I had that car I would want it to be quiet.
