I have a 2004 Malibu Maxx & while I was at Starbucks my friend's daughter unlocked the rear door & opened it. On other cars I owned there was a switch for rear child locks. Does the Malibu Maxx have this & if so where at? I couldn't find it at all.

You know, I've wondered about that too. My daughter has a 2005 Malibu and it doesn't have them either. Wonder what the deal is? We asked about them and the dealer said they would cost $$$$ to retrofit. I didn't think stuff like child safety locks was an option. Maybe your's didn't come with them like my hers. Kinda strange. Anybody know anything further?

Wow, that is odd. My friend has a point. The car has more bells & whistles than I know what to do with, yet it doesn't have child locks on the back. Very odd.

I have recently found out some other Chevys did not have rear child locks on them. Are there any Malibus out there with Child locks on them?
