Default Remote Start. Do I have it?

We just picked up a 09 Malibu and not sure if it has remote. The dealer was not much help. They just wanted to sell the car. Will there be a separate button on the key fob?

it may be remote start ready however. you would have to check the rpo codes at a helpful dealership.

Congratulations you’re your Malibu purchase. I would be happy to check your vehicle build for you. If you would like me to do so, please PM me the last 8-digits of your VIN so I may proceed.

I look forward to your reply.
