hello , i have a chevy malibu 2016 , when im trying to park my car and switch off the engine it is giving me shift to park error , i have to turn on the engine and move the car a little bit and turn off the car 2 or 3 times then it will be fixed , what is the possible problem , can some one help me pls ?

 

Parking Sensor, I have an 2017 Malibu 17,000 miles and getting the same issue, I came straight to my dealership and he knew what it was before I can finish my sentence.

Should have been ON THe HOUSE=Warranty. Chrysler had an issue with the PARK not holding, and the vehicle rolled back, killing the owner unlocking his iron gate.
