USB Album/Song Limits

USB Album/Song Limits
Good lord do I hope somebody can help me. 2016 Malibu LT. Supposedly, the limits for USB music is 32Gb and up to 5000 songs.
I've got my 32Gb USB with 320 albums and a total of 4600 songs. When I insert the USB, in Folder View it only lists 72 folders.
When I go to songs, it only shows 1014 songs.
I've had three chat sessions online with India and it appears they have finally given up saying that they cannot diagnose this anymore.
So.. the chat supports has wasted my time and money with their answers.
So.. anybody out there experiencing the same thing ? Better yet, anybody figure out how to access it all ?
